Amazon: The head of consumer activities resigns after 23 years

Dave Clark has announced his resignation from the position of Amazon Consumer Worldwide. His resignation will take effect on July 1, with him leaving Amazon after 23 years with the Group.

According to CNBC, Clark is considered one of the closest associates of the CEO of the retail giant, Andy Jassi.

Following the announcement of the resignation, the share of Amazon fell to 3% on Wall Street, to close at -2.52%.

Clark credits a large portion of the development of Amazon logistics operations, which brought it to the forefront of retail worldwide.
