Amber Heard, Elon Musk’s ex, leaves Twitter after businessman buys social network

A multitude of people said they were leaving Twitter after Elon Musk bought the company, but his ex-girlfriend, Amber Heard, appears to have left the social network.

Your identifier, @RealAmberHeard, no longer appears on the platform.

She announced via her verified Facebook page on April 10, 2017: “I am now live on Twitter. You can follow my tweets here – @realamberheard.”

Heard and Musk made their relationship public the same month they reconciled after a brief split. They broke up permanently in April 2018.

Over the summer, the actress tweeted on her profile about losing her defamation case against her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

“The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still isn’t enough to resist my ex-husband’s disproportionate power and influence,” Heard tweeted in June.

She still has Facebook and Instagram accounts, but has not publicly shared why she left Twitter.

THE CNN reached out to the actress’ rep for comment.
