AMD CEO Lisa Su is the first woman to receive a medal from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The Robert N. Noyce Medal was created as an award in 2000 and has since been awarded once a year for outstanding contributions to microelectronics.

Interestingly, the award is funded by Intel, as Noyce was one of the founders of the company. Thus, we can conditionally say that Intel awarded the head of AMD with a medal named after Intel co-founder.
It is also worth noting that last year Lisa Su received a similar award – the award named after the same Noyce, but from the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA). And then she also became the first woman to receive this award.
