AMD dominates the list of highest performing desktop processors, but falls short of Intel as the top performing laptop processor. At the same time, AMD takes the other four places in the top five.

The 64-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X became the absolute leader in the ranking of the most productive desktop processors with 1,718,608 points. Second place went to the 32-core Ryzen Threadripper 3970X with 1,271,635 points. The third place went to the 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X with a score of 1,052,712 points. The fourth place went to the 24-core Threadripper. The only Intel processor in the top five is the i9-10980XE with a score of 915913 points.
In the ranking of laptop processors, the Intel Core i7-11800H was the leader with 667148 points, while the second place Ryzen 9 5900HX scored only 584684 points.


The developers of the Master Lu benchmark emphasize how powerful AMD has made in the field of computing power of its chips in recent years, which has allowed it to surpass Intel in various areas and even regain its market share.
However, Intel continues to lead the market in terms of sales, accounting for 70% of the desktop PC market worldwide.
