AMD Epyc 7543 (Milan) server processor with 32 Zen 3 cores, clocked at 3.7 GHz, Geekbench 5 tested

New test results of AMD Epyc 7543 processor (Milan) have appeared on the network. Recall that this is a 32-core server processor, built on the Zen 3 microarchitecture. In the Geekbench 5 test, it showed a jump in performance compared to its predecessor – AMD Epyc 7542.

The base frequency of the processor, capable of executing up to 64 threads simultaneously, is 2.80 GHz, the increased frequency is 3.70 GHz. The processor configuration includes 256 MB L3 cache and 16 MB L2 cache. The TDP is expected to be close to 200W.

In the multi-core performance test, the processor was able to score 25909 points, which is double the AMD Epyc 7542. The single-core performance score of 1343 points is 37% higher than the AMD Epyc 7542.
