AMD is preparing processors that will take Chromebook performance to the next level. Ryzen 3 5125C is already listed on Geekbench

In the Geekbench benchmark, an engineering sample of a certain Chromebook based on the AMD Ryzen 3 5125C processor was lit up. This is the base model of the new Ryzen 5000C series, designed for mobile computers running Chrome OS.

The line will also include more powerful models – Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7. Ryzen 5000C will replace the Ryzen 3000C models – they will offer higher frequencies and more cores. So, for example, judging by the designation, the quad-core Ryzen 3 5125C should replace the dual-core Ryzen 3 3250C. But much more importantly, the Ryzen 5000C will be based on the more recent Zen3 architecture (instead of Zen +), and will be produced on a more subtle technological process.

The Ryzen 3 5125C appears to be clocked at 3.0GHz (that’s obviously the base clock, max will be higher) and has 8MB of L3 cache.
