The problem with the current Ryzen 5000 series is that it includes both the fresh Cezanne APUs on the Zen3 architecture, and the “old” Lucinne APUs on the Zen2. Barcelo is replacing Lucinne, and the Ryzen lineup will feature exclusively Zen3 APUs. However, you shouldn’t expect much from Barcelo: besides the fact that CPUs will switch from Zen2 to Zen3 architecture, nothing else will change – Vega graphics, support for DDR4 memory and PCIe 3.0 bus will remain.
Apparently, the official premiere of Barcelo will take place in early January, along with the top APUs Rembrandt-H and Rembrabdt-U on Zen3 +.
