AMD has reported for the first quarter of fiscal year 2022.

During the reporting period, the company gained 5.887 billion dollars, increasing the figure in annual terms by an impressive 71%. Quarterly growth was 22%. This is AMD’s record quarterly earnings.
Operating income rose 44% to $951 million and net income was $786 million, up 42% from a year ago.
The results for the first quarter of 2022 include partial financial results for the quarter from the recently completed acquisition of Xilinx, which closed on February 14, 2022.
Record Computing and Graphics revenue was $2.8 billion, up 33% year-over-year. AMD notes an increase in the average selling price of processors and video cards.
The Enterprise, Embedded and Semi-Custom segment brought AMD a record $ 2.5 billion, which is 88% more than a year ago. Xilinx’s partial quarterly revenue was $559 million and operating income was $233 million.
