AMD Ryzen 7000 (Phoenix) mobile processors are expected to be built on Zen4 architecture

The AMD Ryzen 5000 (Cezanne) series of mobile processors have only been available for a few weeks, but the source has already learned something about its successor and the successor to its successor.

Cezanne will be followed by Rembrandt mobile processors, followed by Phoenix, which will be known as AMD Ryzen 7000. Presumably, they will be based on the Zen4 architecture. More precisely, AMD Ryzen 7000 will be the first series on the Zen4 architecture. Like Rembrandt, these processors will support DDR5 memory. In addition, according to preliminary data, AMD Ryzen 7000 APUs will have a new version – FP8.

It is not known exactly why Phoenix will need a new FP8 connector (Rembrandt is expected to use an FP7 connector). However, it can be assumed that this is due to the addition of PCIe Gen5 support, which will not be in Rembrandt.
