Michael was young, in excellent health and Doctors have no explanation for what happened. Michael was smart, selfless, talented and a true guardian angel. He supported me and helped me through several rounds of cancer. He was the first person everyone called to share good news.and was the perfect person to call if you needed a shoulder to lean on or the best advice. He was truly the sweetest, most caring and affectionate man in the world. and brought out the best in everyone who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. He moved through life with such ease and confidence and transformed everyone around him into their best selves. No matter how tough things got, we knew there was nothing we couldn’t overcome with Mike by our side. Michael, meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me. You are my world. You are everything to me. When I heard you take your last breath, my heart shattered into a million pieces. If I had the power to trade places with you, I would do it in an instant. But I will take it one day at a time, as you always told me, and live each day in your honor. Just a week ago, we took the first steps towards starting a family and we often shared our favorite names for our future children. You always told me that you felt destined to be a dad and I couldn’t agree more. You would be the most perfect father in the world. If I ever become a father, I will name my son after you and hope that I can raise him to be at least half the man you are. You were the most generous and helpful person. It gives me relief to know that, through your desire to be a donor, you gave life to four different families. Your birthday is 3 weeks away and our first wedding anniversary is 4 months away, but I know you’re in a better place and heaven has gained another angel.
