The Americanas and Submarino sites have been facing instability for almost 24 hours. The pages are down this Sunday night (20).
Americana SA, which controls the two sites, issued two statements about the problems.
The first, in the early hours of Saturday, says that the company “preemptively suspended part of the servers in the e-commerce environment at dawn, as soon as it identified a risk of unauthorized access”. According to the statement, the environments were normalized at 15:16 on the same day and “there is no evidence of compromise of the databases”.
The second says that the company “proactively resumed part of the servers in the e-commerce environment at dawn this Sunday and promptly triggered its response protocols as soon as it identified unauthorized access”.
The company also says it is evaluating the extent of the event and is working to safely normalize its e-commerce environment.
Physical stores were not affected. The applications, in tests carried out by CNN, even open the initial interface, but do not present the products.
