Luisa Sonza is being criticized after speaking, this Monday (26), about the postponement of her tour “The Tale of Two Worlds” on Instagram. The singer apologized to fans for the change to resolve an accusation of racism in court.
“I’m missing from here because I’m solving every case with Isabel. I’m looking for the best way to solve this in the most correct way possible, according to all my ideals. I want to say in advance that it is obvious that I want to come here to talk to you, that it is obvious that I want to come here to apologize to you, but first I need to resolve this directly in court and directly with Isabel,” the message read.
The singer said that it is something that is not resolved quickly and that is why she decided to postpone the tour. “I am trying to resolve this as quickly as possible, but Brazilian justice is not an overnight thing. I can’t speak to her directly yet.”
“Sorry about everything, but I need to resolve this in the best way, and this best way takes a lot more time than just coming here on the internet and talking about it.”
On the web, she is being criticized for the pronouncement.
“Luísa Sonza is only aggravating this case more and more in my opinion. Speak up, speak up and no apology for the victim. Sorry for the fan? Whereby? Just for the tour? And the victim?” one user wrote on Twitter.

understand the case
Luísa Sonza was accused of racism by lawyer Isabel Macedo de Jesus in 2018.
According to Isabel, she would have felt “humiliated” by the singer during her vacation at an inn in Fernando de Noronha, the same place where Luísa performed. The singer would have asked the lawyer to bring her a glass of water.
The case came to light in 2020, but rose to prominence again in the last week.
Folks, this is all a LIE! Don’t believe it! I would never have that kind of attitude. You know me well, you know my character, my nature. I would never offend another person because of the color of their skin. Never! This accusation is absurd.
