The city of Amparo, in the interior of São Paulo, resumed restrictive measures to try to contain the increase in the number of coronavirus cases. Bars and restaurants will have to close their doors until 10 pm, with a tolerance of 60 minutes for customers who are already in the establishments.
According to the city, 194 people are undergoing Covid-19 treatment, which represents a number 1,112.50% higher than last week.
The restriction measures start this Friday (7) and will be valid until January 31st.
The decree (see the full), signed by Mayor Carlos Alberto Martins (MDB), still prohibits the carrying out of activities that generate agglomeration, such as parties, events and social gatherings, either in public or private places. The exception will be for buffet events.
