An 11-month-old girl two other young children were killed, 3 and 8 years old, were injured after shots who fell into the car in which they were riding in Syracuse City, New York, according to police.
The tragic incident happened on Sunday night, with the little girl receiving a storm of bullets, while sitting in the back seat of the car driven by his mother.
According to cnn.com, the baby’s mother and her cousin were riding in the car with their children when someone from another car coming from the opposite direction opened fire on them.
The two mothers were not injured and took the children to the hospital, where the baby was found dead. The other two children, according to police, have escaped the danger and are being treated in a stable condition.
On Monday night, police arrested a 23-year-old suspect in the incident, who was charged. However, the man denied involvement in the incident.
