Images of one are making the rounds of the internet airplane of Air India, which stuck down a bridge at Delhi of India, during its transport.
The aircraft, which is said to have been sold, was being transported when stuck under the bridge. In the videos and photos that see the light of day, cars are seen passing by the plane, whose wings have been removed.
Air India hastened to clarify, with its announcement, that it has nothing to do with the incident. “It is a withdrawn aircraft in the process of decommissioning which had been sold. It was moved by the new owners. “Air India has nothing to do with this aircraft under any circumstances.”
Delhi airport officials told the Times of India that “the aircraft does not belong in its fleet and the driver may have done something wrong while transporting it”.
