“President Erdogan, who stressed that the resumption of fighting is very negative, said that Turkey is working to achieve a lasting ceasefire and for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza,” the statement underlined, adding that Erdogan stressed also that Turkey is doing everything it can to stop the “slaughter” of Israel but that the Muslim world must act united.
