Explosion on an oil pipeline in the Yamal Peninsula Russia caused the spill of oil products along an area of about 2,000 square meters, the RIA news agency reported today.
Emergency services said there was no threat of water pollution from the oil slick as well as that the area has been excluded, as broadcast by Reuters and rebroadcast by the Athens News Agency.
