An illuminated car covered with 2,000 LEDs travels to the United Kingdom

Last week, an electric car MINI covered with 2,000 LEDs began its journey to United Kingdom for good purposes. The illuminated car will travel for five weeks on British highways to raise money for three major charities – the MS Trust, Duchenne UK and Alzheimer’s Society – while scattering festive joy with its red, blue, green and yellow lights.

The project «Festive MINI» was launched two years ago when requested by Nico Martin to wrap his own MINI with lights and go out into its streets Bracknell, of his birthplace, to pleasantly surprise an eleven-year-old boy suffering from muscular dystrophy Duchenne.

In December 2020, the Martin, mediator of the pandemic, realized that he could use the “Festive MINI” to bring joy to people on the doorstep of their home and to foster a positive mood while, at the same time, raising money for charities.

This year, the Nico Martin won the support of the car industry itself, the company Festive Lights and the small Italian lighting company Twinkly.

“I am so grateful for the incredible support of the project and the teams involved this year! Driving an electric car MINI is even more exciting and means that all my travels are environmentally friendly, and its application-controlled lights Twinkly with their amazing combinations that you choose, they give extra magic to the car “, excitedly explained the Martin.

“I do not see the time to sit behind the wheel to spread a little «Festive MINI» spirit and raise a lot of money for the three charities “he had confessed before taking to the streets.
