An improvised explosive device exploded in the early hours of the morning near the Israeli Embassy in Cyprus. According to the police, the explosion occurred around 1:37 in Nicosia.
As it states sigmalivemembers of the police immediately went to the scene, including Fireworks where they spotted a small metal object at a distance of 30 to 40 meters from the Israeli embassy.
The metal object, according to police it contained a small amount of pyrotechnic material which was detonated and detonated without causing any damage.
In the area the members of the police spotted two people moving on foot and heading towards a certain car. From the police search of the car two knives and a hammer were found, while two people were still in the car.
The 21-year-old owner of the car was arrested for self-inflicted offenses of carrying a knife and possession of an offensive instrument. And the four persons aged 17 to 21 are at the TAE for exams.
