An expression of interest for the concession of the Itea marina was submitted by “Diving Status – Fokis Development”, as stated in an announcement by the HRDH.
As it is noted, the Fund’s utilization consultants, after evaluating the submitted Expression of Interest, will submit their suggestion to the Board of HRDH regarding the fulfillment of the participation criteria for the next phase of the tender (binding offers phase).
The utilization of the Itea marina is part of the coordinated effort of the HRDH for the utilization of the marina and tourist ports of its portfolio in the framework of its strategy for the development of assets with a significant local footprint and the enhancement of the tourist development through yachts.
It is reminded that the tender of HRDH concerns the granting of the right to provide port operation services and the right to use, operate, manage and operate the Itea marina for a period of at least 40 years.
Itea Marina is located in the “Marina” position of the bay of Itea, within the boundaries of the former Municipality of Itea. The marine zone of the marina occupies an area of ​​26,000 sq.m. and has the capacity to moor 146 small and medium-sized vessels. There are also 60 boat seats on land. The land surface of Itea marina covers an area of ​​24,700 sq.m. Today, the marina of Itea is operational and hosts a small number of yachts, while it is estimated that its development will highlight the special features of the area, making Itea a reference point for the development of quality maritime tourism.
