An island frequented by artists is for sale in Angra dos Reis for R$ 74 million

A 25,000 square meter paradise frequented by famous people, seven kilometers off the coast of Angra dos Reis, in the Costa Verde region of Rio de Janeiro, is for sale.

Known as the Island of Japan, the place has preserved Atlantic Forest and, at the top of the hill, a mansion of 750 square meters, with five bedrooms – three of them in bungalows. There is even a swimming pool with covered seating area. All this for BRL 74 million.

The place is for sale by Muller Imóveis RJ, which specializes in luxury homes. It receives guests for periods of at least one week, attracting especially famous people. On the Mahnai website, the daily rate for staying on the island exceeds R$ 16,000.

Now, it can be acquired by anyone willing to pay the amount requested by the owners – something inaccessible even for those who take the accumulated Mega-Sena this week, which will pay around R$ 54 million.

The Island of Japan offers accommodation for up to ten people, who need to get there by helicopter – there is a helipad -, boat or speedboat.

All energy is provided by solar panels, capable of supplying the two suites and the three bed bungalows king sizethe sound system and the five air conditioning units.

Among those who have stayed there are actresses Bruna Marquezine and Giovanna Ewbank. The jacuzzi has capacity for ten people.
