The US is not providing intelligence support to Israel for its military operations against Lebanon’s Hezbollah, a Pentagon spokesman said today, adding that Washington is pushing at all levels to resolve the crisis diplomatically. US Defense Department spokeswoman Sabrina Singh also said it did not appear an Israeli military ground invasion of Lebanon was imminent, but referred reporters who asked about the next stages of Israel’s campaign against Hezbollah to the Israeli government.
