Ana Guevara attacks swimming champions: “For me, let them sell panties”

Ana Gabriela Guevara, head of the National Sports Commission (CONADE), attacked the Mexican artistic swimming team that won gold in the Egypt World Cup after the athletes claimed that the sports commission did not provide them with help to attend the competition.

The former athlete also asserted that the swimmers are debtors and liars and refused to acknowledge the victory of the girls, arguing that “for CONADE it is invalid, since the Federation of Aquatic Sports has many irregularities.” As expected, Guevara’s statements have caused a stir, leading her to be branded as arrogant and arrogant.

In interview for W Radius, The former Olympic medalist affirmed that the medalists Joana Jiménez and Nuria Diosdado lied about the zero support they received and the fact that they had to sell sportswear to pay their travel expenses to Egypt.

They are liars because they are 40 million pesos invested, in which they have been given scholarships, they have been given coaches, they eat, they sleep, they were supported in everything.

Guevara ended her comment by pointing out that the swimmers are debtors and gave them a “cordial” invitation to continue selling commercial products to pay for their training, supplies and travel.

Then it must also be said that they are debtors. They are debtors within CONADE for the 2016-2018 financial year. And they owe two million 748 thousand 338 pesos that they have not been able to verify. If they want to continue selling bathing suits, then let them continue selling. If they are going to sell Tupperware and Avon and everything that exists in the market.

So far, none of the swimmers have responded to the words of the head of the sport, but this is expected to happen in the next few hours and that evidence will even be presented.
