Ana Hickmann’s ex-husband sues presenter for parental alienation

Ana Hickmann’s ex-husband, businessman Alexandre Correa, asked for the protective measure to be revoked and filed a lawsuit against her for parental alienation, according to the businessman’s lawyer, Enio Martins Murad.

Enio told CNN that he requested the right to family life based on article 2 of Law 12,318/2010, stating that Hickmann, “it is an indelible right of the father to see his son and mother, Ana Hickmann is no different from other women and has the obligation to allow this family coexistence”, says Murad

Corrêa’s defense says that he requested the right to visit his son, “it was denied and therefore there was no alternative other than the appropriate judicial measure”, explains the lawyer,

According to presenter Ana Hickmann’s advisors, “she asked for the protective measure and also for divorce based on the Maria da Penha Law”.

“The Parental Alienation Law prohibits the mother from publicly exposing the father and protects the right of coexistence between Father and Child. Thus, the process serves to correct this situation”, claims the defense lawyer.

The presenter registered a police report against her husband, Alexandre Correa, at the family home in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo. She told police that she was talking to her 10-year-old son in the kitchen at home when Correa heard it and didn’t like the subject. So he started an argument. The child, frightened, would have run out of the room, according to Hickmann.

Correa allegedly pushed his wife against the wall and threatened to headbutt her, according to information contained in the police report. He denied the accusations on social media.

During the argument, Correa closed the kitchen door, hitting Hickmann, according to the report. She used the situation to lock her husband out of the room and call the Military Police, but the businessman was no longer there when the agents arrived. At the police station, when giving a statement and registering a report for assault, Hickmann refused the protective measures provided for in the Maria de Penha Law.
