Ana Hickmann’s husband claims to be threatened on the internet and then deletes post

Alexandre Correa, the businessman who was denounced by his wife, presenter Ana Hickmann, for domestic violence and bodily harm last weekend, said he was receiving hateful messages and threats over the internet. The statement was made in a post on his Instagram profile that was deleted shortly afterwards.

“Finishing the count now. In 72 hours there are 2,854 messages threatening, hateful and promising revenge! It would sound threatening if it weren’t so sad and humiliating. Knowing that I am condemned at 52 years old to forgetting the right to have a life like any ordinary Brazilian. Internet judges and website judges gave my sentence, without the right to appeal or appeal”, he wrote in the publication that is no longer available on his profile.

The case

The presenter Ana Hickmann filed a police report, accusing her husband of assault on Saturday afternoon (11). The episode of violence took place at the family home in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo.

To the police, she reported that she was talking to her 10-year-old son in the kitchen when Alexandre overheard, didn’t like the content of the conversation and started an argument with the presenter. The child, frightened, would have run out of the room.

According to the police report, Alexandre pushed his wife against the wall and threatened to headbutt her – an accusation he denied on social media.

When trying to get his cell phone, which was on a table, Alexandre closed the kitchen door, hitting Ana Hickmann in the arm. At that moment, according to the bulletin, the presenter locked her husband out of the room. That’s when she managed to call the police. When the Military Police arrived, Alexandre was no longer there.

The presenter stopped following her husband on social media after the episode. Alexandre Correa, in turn, deleted recent photos of Hickmann from his social networks. He also published a note apologizing to the family. The two have been together for 25 years.
