Ana Maria Braga returns to host the program and explains her discomfort

THE presenter Ana Maria Braga 75, returned to her morning show Mais Você this Monday (16) and explained her absence at the end of last week. During the attraction, she emphasized that she is already fine.

“It’s good to be back. What happened? Who has never eaten something that didn’t agree with them, right? But everything is fine now,” said Ana Maria Braga.

After reporting that she had fallen ill on Thursday (12), she was replaced by Tati Machado and Fabricio Battaglini, who also presented the program on Friday (13).

Ana Maria Braga also said that she had difficulty breathing due to the air in São Paulo, which last week was considered the most polluted in the world.

Because she had bronchiolitis, she said she went to her pulmonologist. “We smokers, who smoked for many years, have this bronchiolitis. It can be chronic if the person is a smoker and it can be acute, and with smoke and pollution it gets much worse,” explained the presenter.

“I quit smoking a year ago and I was talking to her this weekend and I asked her why it was so hard to breathe on Saturday. I had to change my medication. (…) You breathe and it feels like the air only gets to the middle, you can’t get the oxygen to the rest of your lungs. Now, thank God, I can breathe,” said Ana Maria Braga.

In August, she had to stay off screen for a few days after testing positive for Covid-19.
