A new survey by CNN reveals a promising scenario for Kamala Harris in crucial states for the American presidential elections.
The Democratic candidate for the White House leads voting intentions in Michigan and Wisconsin, two of the three swing states considered fundamental in defining the outcome of the election.
According to the survey, Harris appears ahead in Michigan with 48% of voting intentions, against 43% for Donald Trump.
In Wisconsin, the advantage is even greater: 51% for the Democrat, against 45% for the Republican. In Pennsylvania, the third key state, the dispute remains tied.
The path to victory
According to CNN’s senior international analyst, Américo Martins, a victory for Kamala Harris in these three states could be enough to guarantee her election.
“Many analysts believe that if Kamala Harris wins precisely in these three swing states, she will win the election,” says Martins.
The expert highlights that these states, located in the so-called “Rust Belt”, present a more favorable scenario for Democrats compared to states in the south of the country.
“These are states that, although they have voted for Trump in the past, also have a very large legacy of voting for the Democratic Party”, he explains.

Among the three states analyzed, Pennsylvania emerges as the most disputed and potentially decisive. With the survey indicating a technical tie, the result in this state could tip the balance in the elections.
