He was 16. Giuseppe Lenoci, originally from Monte Urano, in the province of Fermo, died in a car accident while he was busy in an apprenticeship as part of a professional course in plumbing and heating. A month after the death of 18-year-old Lorenzo Parellihit by a steel beam in a factory in Lanuzacco, Udine, where he was doing his apprenticeship, another boy lost his life during working hours.
The accident occurred in Serra de ‘Conti, in the province of Ancona. The company van crashed violently into a tree: the driver was injured and was transported to hospital in serious condition, while for the 16-year-old, who was stuck in the metal sheets, there was nothing to do.
