Andreas Loverdos: The discussion should be about the future of the place and the party and not go back to the past

Andreas Loverdos, a candidate for the leadership of the Movement for Change, stressed that the discussion should not return to the past, but should concern the future of the place and the party, thus indirectly commenting on last night’s interview with George Papandreou.

Mr. Loverdos refuted the remark if George Papandreou is in the past and underlined: “He is a member of the Greek parliament, he is a friend, he is a co-candidate. Why is it in the past? I am not saying such a thing. “Give hope. Change must have hope. And what does hope mean? It means you are doing something new, something that can give you things.”

The candidate for the leadership of KINAL pointed out how there are several readings about the past and how good it is for the country to talk about the next day. “We will not write history of the recent period of our country now. Let’s go for the next day. We are aware of the past with its good and its mistakes. We are a party that has changed Greece in the past and when Greece needed it “We lifted all the burdens of the homeland on our own. We are proud of that”, stressed Andreas Loverdos.
