The model and actress Andressa Urach 36, used social media this Tuesday (30) to show the result of the tongue bifurcation procedure she recently underwent. With the organ divided in two, she said that the post-operative period is hurting “a lot” and that she cannot speak for now.
“Today is the first day after my bifurcation,” Andressa wrote on her Instagram profile. “It hurts a lot. It’s swollen, I’m salivating a lot, I’m having trouble swallowing. Yesterday I couldn’t eat, but today I was able to eat soup blended in the blender,” she added.
Andressa showed the result of the procedure in a video. “It’s white because I was trying to eat ice cream, but I couldn’t,” she said.
Tongue bifurcation is also known as lingual bisection and consists of making a split in half at the tip of the tongue, something that resembles the tongue of reptiles.
