It is definitely a dark project and the actor told the magazine Variety that both he and his co-stars had to prepare for their scenes extensively, so they needed to organize relaxing activities to be able to endure the theme of the story.
I think for us it was a real necessity to have game nights, go out and be in nature, you know, go for walks, swim, dive, dance and eat things that we liked, all of this to be able to come back and indulge to our work. We had to take care of ourselves in order to continue with the story.
“I want to be a normal person”
After Under the Banner of HeavenAndrew plans to have a little break to reflect on what direction you want to take. Also, he states that he misses being an ordinary person, especially after this awards season.
I’m going to rest for a while. I need to recalibrate and reconsider what I want to do, who I want to be, and just be a normal person for a while.
So… will there be no more Spider-Man?
Many actors take regular breaks to cope with their busy lifestyles, especially when their careers explode like Andrew’s did, but that doesn’t mean their fans don’t be saddened by the news.
