On social media, Florence reacted to her co-star’s initiative and regretted not being present for the screening of “All the Time We Have” at the London Film Festival on Thursday (17).
“Adorable. Look at us. Genius. Well done, Andrew”, he wrote when republishing records of the actor on the red carpet along with the cardboard.
“Very happy that you will be able to watch this film. I’m sorry I couldn’t be at the festival. It hurts me not to be there to celebrate the launch, but I’m toasting even though I’m far away”, he said.
Before being shown in London, the film played at the Toronto International Film Festival. Questioned by CNN what it was like to see the audience’s reaction, Garfield replied: “Beautiful. Very welcoming. Kind. Lovely reactions.”
“People have had their own answers and as a threshold test of where you are in your own life, where you are with your own dreams, your own desires. It’s been really moving to see people so touched and wanting to talk about it,” he continued.
Florence revealed to CNN what “All the Time We Have” It had a huge impact on her life, leading her to change the way she sees relationships.
It was very wonderful, but a scary feeling of having the weight of the plot also affect my personal life. I think a lot of people watching the film feel very excited and desperate to talk to us about this feeling of having, I suppose, a bit of a reality check.”
