Influencers of social media feeds on the increase in misogyny and sexism in the UK’s classrooms, according to teachers. More than 5,800 teachers were asked as part of the Nasuwt Trade Union research, and almost three in five teachers (59%) said they believe that the use of social media has contributed to the worsening of students’ behavior. The findings were published during the annual conference of the Union, which is being held in Liverpool this weekend. A proposal to be discussed at the conference calls on the Trade Union Executive Committee to cooperate with teachers “to evaluate the danger of the far -right and populist movements for young people.” Andrew Tate referred to several teachers involved in the study, who said he had a negative influence on boys.
