Chinese manufacturing giant Xiaomi has responded to user complaints about the problems faced by users of the MIUI beta based on Android 12.
On Android 12, most of the issues are related to compatibility. Many third-party apps are not yet compatible with Android 12. One complaint concerns a crash in the Douyin app (Chinese version of TikTok). However, the creators of the app have already fixed the error, so Xiaomi is asking users to update the app to the latest version.

After upgrading to Android 12, users face other issues such as screen dimming and constant restart. In addition, there are problems with notifications that do not arrive on time. Other known issues:
- Microphone works abnormally in some cases, especially on Xiaomi Mi 10 / Pro
- Android 12 app store asks for permission frequently
- The dark mode of the app store is abnormally inverted
- Widgets disappear after restart
- QQ, WeChat, Alipay and other apps open slowly
- Voice volume in WeChat and other apps is very low
So far, we are only talking about the MIUI version based on Android 12 for developers. The timing of the start of the open beta test has not yet been announced.
