Android Auto is on the cusp of a breakthrough. The long-awaited wallpapers are getting closer, but for now the collection of hidden options is expanding
The launch of the highly anticipated wallpaper feature in the Android Auto car platform is getting closer. At least the Google team is actively working in this direction.
A couple of months ago, the developers added a selection of hidden images to Android Auto, which will later be used as. Now Google has removed most of the old images and added a dozen new images instead.
The new images are better suited for cars and Android Auto. Unfortunately, they still cannot be activated and used in reality.
Note that Apple’s rival CarPlay platform introduced the ability to set your own wallpaper with the release of iOS 14. Needless to say, many Android Auto users are looking forward to a similar feature.
