As a result, the platform was replaced, but, unfortunately, not with Snapdragon 845 or something- then newer from this line, and on Snapdragon 662. Yes, this is a fairly fresh SoC, but its performance is unlikely to please buyers of not the cheapest smartphone ($ 900).
Even the manufacturer himself clarifies that users may notice a slightly decreased performance relative to the Snapdragon 835, but the autonomy should increase. But there are other pluses: support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, as well as higher resolution cameras (48 MP instead of 12 MP). In addition, the manufacturer promises software updates until at least 2023.
