The National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) approved this Tuesday (28) the annual readjustment of the tariffs of the distributor in Tocantins, controlled by Energisa.
The average effect is 14.78% for consumers, 15.85% for consumers connected to high voltage and 14.53% for low voltage ones.
The new values will take effect from July 4th.
Measures recently approved by Aneel, the federal government and the legislature helped to mitigate an even higher tariff increase, highlighted Aneel directors. Tariffs are still affected by the 2021 drought, the pandemic and subsidies, among other factors.
In the case of Tocantins, the distributor achieved an attenuation of 9.75 percentage points in the annual adjustment with the reversal of tax credits referring to lawsuits regarding the exclusion of ICMS from the PIS/Cofins calculation basis.
Eletrobras’ contribution to reasonable tariffs in 2022 also contributed to reducing the high tariff by 2.31 percentage points at Energisa Tocantins, according to Aneel’s calculations.
