Especially in the third quarter of 2021 where, due to seasonality, the highest sales are recorded, a significant part of the turnover lost in the corresponding period last year was recovered.

However, the sharp rise in international oil prices in the first nine months of 2021, which led to a 35% increase in fuel costs compared to the first nine months of 2020, absorbed much of the benefit from increased traffic and revenue.

It is noted that the recovery of results occurred after the unprecedented loss of transport project and revenue during the previous year due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The significant increase in transport traffic resulted in an increase of 18% turnover of the Group, which in the nine months of 2021 amounted to euro 114.2 million against euro 97.0 million in the corresponding period of 2020, while in the third quarter of 2021 amounted to euro 56.0 million against euro 41.6 million marking an increase of 35%.

Finally, the results before taxes, financial and investment results (EBIT) of the Group in the first nine months of 2021 amounted to profits of € 4.2 million compared to losses of € 0.7 million in the first nine months of 2020, while in the third quarter of 2021 amounted to profits of € 10.3 million against euros € 7.2 million in the corresponding comparable period.

The increasing trend of traffic in all categories of transport project of the Group continues in the months of October and November. However, fuel prices are still very high, putting excessive operating costs.

There were no significant changes in the borrowing position, the capital structure and the other figures of the Group’s financial position during the third quarter of 2021.
