Data from the São Paulo State Transport Agency (Artesp) show that more than 36,000 wild animals were run over on São Paulo highways granted between 2019 and 2023.
“In the two road projects of the Water Circuit and Rota Mogiana, the future dealers will be responsible for preparing annual surveys to identify and mitigate the critical points of running overwhelming,” he said.
In these studies, future concessionaires should identify areas considered critical, with a high incidence of run over. In addition to catwalks and tunnels, protective fences should be installed.

In the new Raposo should be installed 22 passages, 11 aerial and 11 underground. The Sorocabana route should receive 28 tickets.
