Singer Anitta revealed this Thursday (31) the cover and release date of her new album: “Versions of Me” will be released on April 12.
And with this news, the Brazilian singer ends one of the most remarkable months of her career, after conquering the record of reaching the Top 1 Global on Spotify, with the hit “Envolver”, and sharing the Lollapalooza stage with the American pop diva. Miley Cyrus.
The announcement of the new album also came a day after the singer’s birthday, who turned 29 on March 30.
“Versions Of Me – The album – April 12th”, wrote the artist on social media. Asked about the change in the title of the album, which would initially be released as “Girl from Rio”, the singer said, on social media, that she changed the name because “it made more sense”.
The day before revealing the cover and the name of the new album, the singer made a “spoiler” on her social networks, with photos of different moments in her life, from childhood, and wrote “Versions of Me” (versions of me) .
“Even after millions of plastic surgeries, doctors and interventions… my interior remains the same. I could see through all the pictures everyone is posting wishing me happy birthday that my soul has kept all the important things I had since I was a kid. This is the happiest birthday of my life.”

The new album cover features six versions of singer Anitta; the creative direction of the work was led by Belgian artist Maxime Quoilin, who has worked with Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and the couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
