Singer Anitta is doing well after undergoing surgery to treat endometriosis, informed the Vila Nova Star hospital, where the artist had the procedure, this Wednesday morning (20), in São Paulo.
According to the medical team, the minimally invasive procedure lasted about four hours, without any complications.
“The singer is in good clinical condition and will remain hospitalized at Vila Nova Star, where she was admitted last Monday (18). There are currently no plans to release him,” the hospital said in a statement.
Before the surgery, Anitta made a publication on Instagram informing fans that the procedure was scheduled before the last tour.
“I came from the tour straight to the hospital to start preparations for a surgery which I will have as soon as my body is ready for it. Surgery was already scheduled before the tour began. I have something called endometriosis (very common in millions of women in the world, but not as talked about as it should be). I am doing well being very well taken care of and I will keep everyone informed”, said Anitta in a publication in English.
