Anitta is stung by jellyfish in Ibiza: “Pain I’ve never felt in my life”

Singer Anitta, 31, revealed on Wednesday morning (10) that she suffered a jellyfish burn during her trip to Ibiza, a Spanish island located in the Mediterranean Sea.

On her social media, the voice of “Bellakeo” and “Envolver” reported the episode and said that she was attacked by a medusa — the name given to jellyfish in their adult phase — while swimming in a cave.

“I’m fine now,” said the Brazilian. “I fought with her and when I punched the jellyfish, she burned me here. It was a pain I’ve never felt in my life. I was electrocuted,” said the Brazilian.

She also said that she was inundated with messages wanting to know if she was okay or had gone to the hospital, she had to rely on the help of a sailor to remove the remains of the animal from her body and he assured her that she was fine.

“It was life-ending pain for about an hour. The sailor was scraping the poison out of my skin with a knife. He scraped it off and the poison came out brown. After feeling pain like that, I’m ready for anything.”

Anitta is in Ibiza after performing in the city with “Baile Funk Experience”, which took songs from her latest album, “Funk Generation”, to cities in Europe and the United States. The next and final performance of the tour will be on Saturday (13), at Hyde Park, in London.
