The remix version of “Gata Only” was made available on music platforms on Thursday (6). The music by Chileans FloyyMenor and Chris Mj now features Anitta and Puerto Rican Ozuna.
The song leads the Billboard Hot Latin Songs, the North American magazine’s main Latin music chart, for the eighth consecutive week and has already surpassed the 600 million plays mark on Spotify. On YouTube, the video for “Gata Only” has 214 million views.
FloyyMenor and Chris Mj were the first Chileans to enter the top 10 of Hot Latin Songs since 1999, when La Ley and Ednita Nazario achieved the feat.
In an interview with Billboard, FloyyMenor celebrated the success of the song, crowned by the remix version with Anitta and Ozuna.
“’Gata Only became a worldwide hit and the fact that two artists like Ozuna and Anitta joined the remix makes everything bigger and more special,” said the Chilean.
