Anitta performs on the “Today Show” in New York; watch videos

The singer Anita made a presentation on the program “Today Show” in New York, in the United States, this Friday morning (31).

The pop star sang hits from her latest album, “Funk Generation”, and became the first Brazilian to go up on the stage that is located on the sidewalk of the Rockefeller Center building where the headquarters of the American broadcaster NBC are located.

The artist's presentation was open to the public as part of a project that brings together a series of concerts. The show had free tickets made available in recent weeks, in order to give Anitta fans the opportunity.

On X, the old Twitter, several fans shared excerpts from their performance, which included hits such as “Lose Ya Breath”, “Cria de Favela”, “Fria”, “Envolver”, among others. Check out:

In addition to the presentation, the artist from Rio also gave an interview to the vehicle's website and mentioned her feeling when singing on the same stage that has already hosted concerts by Prince, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Britney Spears.

“We simply don't see things like this happening to Brazilians, so I'm very happy. We are still very invisible. So, I just hope that people feel and experience this Brazilian energy, even if it's just for a morning. And who knows? Maybe later they'll say, 'Wow, that's so different. I need to know more about this,” he said.
