Anitta, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish: see reactions from Grammy nominees

Artists reacted to the nominations Grammys 2025 this Friday (8). The industry’s biggest music awards show takes place on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena, located in the North American city of Los Angeles.

Names like Anitta, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Troye Sivan and Gracie Abrams they took to social media to comment on the nominations.

Anitta competes in the category of Best Latin Pop Album with the disk “Funk Generation” (2024). The Brazilian competes against Luis Fonsi (“El Viaje”), Kany Garcia (“Garcia”), Shakira (“Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran”) and Kali Uchis (“Orquídeas”).

On her Instagram, the artist published a video where she dances to “Funk Generation”. “Brazilian funk reached the international Grammys. Good morning,” she wrote.

Sabrina Carpenter celebrated the eight nominations with a series of videos where she appears screaming and crying a lot. She is the second most nominated of the year, behind only Beyoncé.

“This is the first year I have watched the live broadcast where I heard my name! I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t dreamed of this day my whole life, so I’m filled with gratitude – Thank you!” she wrote in the caption. The artist has ten years of career and six studio albums released, but it was with “Espresso”, from the album “Short n’ Sweet” that she reached the main charts.

Billie Eilish received seven nominations for the album “Hit Me Hard And Soft” . “Crazy, thank you so much,” she wrote on social media.

Miley Cyrus, in turn, was nominated for her collaboration with Beyoncé on “II Most Wanted”. Together the two compete in the Best Country Duo category. On social media, Miley celebrated the fact that her colleague was the record holder in the edition. “Shotgun pilots forever! I love you, Beyoncé, congratulations on all your well-deserved nominations!”, he wrote.

Troye Sivan competes in the category of Best Pop Dance Recording with the track “Got Me Started” . “My voice hurts from shouting so much”, he celebrated.

Gracie Abrams competes with “Us” in the Best Pop Duo category. The song is a collaboration with Taylor Swift. “Screaming, of course. We, Taylor Swift,” he wrote.
