Annalisa and Tananai: they are the song of the summer

Ever since they told us they were going to do a duet together we couldn't wait to hear the song Annalisa and Tananai and, fortunately, thanks to the concert of Live beats of Giovinazzo, we can say that we were right. Short storiestheir song which will be released on June 5this in fact a candidate to become our favorite summer hitand all thanks to the way in which the voices of Annalisa and Tananai intertwine – it has already happened on the stage of the Arena di Verona – and to that mix of feelings that range from nostalgia to reflection on the superficiality of modern relationships, passing through a strong connection between two people who, like black catsthey feel isolated from the rest of the world.

«All short stories, everyone is at the seaside and we are not. We have too much going on, you got me feeling weird. We fly slowly into the blue, like your Levi's. We, two black cats, all short stories”, sing Annalisa and Tananai, taking us back to August 1996, a specific period that seems to evoke happy and particular memories for the protagonists. The result is, indeed, a song about connection and isolationalso considering that, while “everyone is at the seaside”, the two protagonists of the song are alone, closed in “four walls”, making their relationship even more intimate and exclusive.

Their connection is described as intense and special, with “too many things at stake”, suggesting a depth that other relationships do not possess and which the voices of Annalisa and Tananai underline perfectly. For the two artists this is a golden moment: Annalisa is fresh from the success of the single Sincerely and from its first date at the Verona Arena, ready to start on Sunday 16 June at Nameless Festival in Annone di Brianza with the tour All in the vortex – Outdoor; while Tananai is ready to return live with the tour Tananai Live 2024 – Palasport which will start on November 2nd in Jesolo and end on December 3rd at the Inalpi Arena in Turin.
