Annualized growth of 33.1% is confirmed in the third quarter

The new US GDP growth reading for the third quarter showed no surprises and was in line with expectations. The economy grew at an annualized rate of 33.1%, similar to the previous estimate.

The growth rate is record and follows the second quarter record contraction of 31.4%.

At the same time, other reports were published, such as requests for unemployment benefits and requests for durable goods. The dollar weakened after the figures and fell on all fronts.
