Anonymous promised to publish 137 GB of compromising information on participants in the crypto industry

A Twitter user under the pseudonym adyingnobody announced that he intends to make public a huge block of data from the Telegram messenger with defamatory information.

Adyingnobody reportedthat the messenger platform was exploited in 2019. This allowed an anonymous person and a group of other people to access the messages of some “influencers in the field of cryptocurrencies.” Among them are well-known crypto influencers, who have millions of followers, the author of the tweet assured.

According to adyingnobody, until May, he was collecting incriminating data about people with evidence of fraud and manipulation that could cause “a split in the entire cryptocurrency community.” Many famous people and cryptocurrency projects appearing in the data simply will not survive, adyingnobody assures, the disclosure of the facts of financial fraud with their participation and the negative public reaction to the overthrow of moral principles.

“Artists pretending to be developers and developers pretending to be artists. Some pretend to be rich, others pretend to be poor, but they are not who they say they are. I know their secrets. There will be confusion, sadness, anger and disappointment,” gloats the anonymous.

On June 15, he promises to start publishing excerpts from the posts and messages of these people. Their posts contain racist and homophobic remarks, obscene discussions of adultery and sexual violence, invitations to orgies in private jets and mansions. Moreover, these famous personalities are actively discussing fraud with cryptocurrency projects that were originally designed to scam and mislead users, assures adyingnobody.

An anonymous Twitterer claims that he has evidence of a conspiracy by a certain group of people who planned the murder of a person to steal crypto assets, and this, they say, is not the only such case. All data will be fully published on July 7, an unknown person promises. He explains his actions by the fact that due to misconceptions about the privacy and security of Telegram, “people relaxed” and began to express their thoughts more freely:

“It doesn’t matter to me anymore. I am dying from diseases that destroy the body. Any money I make will go to my family and then I’ll disappear. But not before I get rid of the guilt. I did everything I could to deprive those who did not deserve it of strength and success.

Some Twitter users have speculated that adyingnobody himself may be a scammer and the files he is about to post may be malicious. Therefore, despite curiosity, you should exercise maximum caution so as not to lose crypto assets from your wallets.

In May, hackers carried out a phishing attack on the Twitter account of non-fungible token creator Mike Winkelmann, posting fake information about the NFT raffle. Cryptocurrency site CoinGecko and Etherscan also reported an increase in phishing attacks on users through third-party advertising widgets.
