It is logical that for users of the RTX 3060 Ti it is more profitable, but for manufacturers the situation is the opposite: the costs of manufacturing the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070 are very close, while the recommended cost of the former is $ 100 less than the latter. It is clear that neither one nor the other model can be bought in retail at the recommended price, but that’s another story. The fact is that the difference in those same $ 100 does not cover the production costs, and therefore it is more profitable for manufacturers to release the more expensive GeForce RTX 3070.
