An unusual AMD graphics card was found in the UserBenchmark software database. This card is based on the top-end Navi 21 GPU, but only with 8GB of GDDR6 memory.

Recall that all current cards based on this GPU, and this is the Radeon RX 6800, RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT, have 16 GB of memory, and this includes their advantage over the competitor’s cards.
Therefore, it is not yet clear what exactly was tested in the benchmark. The presence of the MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard could indicate that we have a desktop adapter, however, mobile prototypes are often tested on desktop systems. At the same time, the result is slightly lower than that of the usual RX 6800, which indicates either reduced frequencies or a smaller number of execution units.
Perhaps this is some kind of cheaper option for PC makers, which could be called the RX 6800 LE. But it is also possible that this is the upcoming RX 6900M, which, according to the latest rumors, could be unveiled in early 2022. True, the current RX 6800M has more memory (12 GB), but still noticeably less powerful Navi 22 GPU.
